Privacy Policy
Your privacy, in plain language.
This policy covers the Pull List mobile apps for iOS and Android and this website (together, “Pull List”). Pull List is powered by LocalComic.Shop and operated by Anthology (“we”, “us”).
The short version
- You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name, address or phone number.
- We don't track individual users' personal information.
- We use analytics to see how the app and website are used overall, so we can decide what to build next.
- Your pull list is stored on your own device.
- We don't sell your information.
Information we don't collect
Pull List has no sign-up or login. We don't collect your name, email address (unless you choose to give it to us, see below), phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location, and we don't build profiles of individual people.
Your pull list stays on your device
The comics you add to your pull list are saved locally, in the app's on-device database. The app downloads a catalogue of upcoming releases from our servers, but your list is not uploaded to us.
Analytics
We use analytics to understand how people use the app and website in aggregate: for example, which screens are opened, which features are popular, which pages are visited, and whether something is failing or slow. We use this to plan future development and fix problems.
Analytics data is used to understand usage patterns, not to identify, profile or follow individual people. It may include technical information such as device type, operating system and app version, approximate region derived from your network connection, and anonymous identifiers or counts of interactions. We do not use analytics to collect your personal information, and we do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
Security and abuse protection
To keep our catalogue service from being abused by automated traffic, the app uses a device-attestation service (Firebase App Check, provided by Google). It checks that requests come from a genuine copy of the app on a genuine device. It does not tell us who you are.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. The form is handled by LocalComic.Shop, which stores your message and emails it to us. To limit spam it also keeps a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to rate-limit submissions. We use your details only to reply and don't share them for marketing.
Email, if you give it to us
If you enter your email address to be notified when the app launches, we use it only to send that launch notice (and anything else you've clearly asked for). You can ask us to delete it at any time. We don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
This website
The website is a static page. Beyond the analytics described above, it does not use advertising trackers. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and requested page, for security and operations. Links to other sites, such as LocalComic.Shop, are covered by those sites' own policies.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run Pull List (such as hosting, analytics and device-attestation providers), and only as needed for them to do so, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Children
Pull List is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't hold personal profiles, there is usually nothing to look up or delete. If you gave us your email address, or you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we'll access, correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. You can also remove the app at any time to delete your on-device pull list.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Pull List handles information, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or on the website.
